Is there any feedback on my application?
Unlike many other investors, we want to support you even if we are not a perfect match. We will provide you with a detailed company valuation with an unbiased view from an investor's perspective. And it's free of charge!
Which startups do you invest in?
We invest exclusively in profit-oriented business models of start-ups whose business has a positive impact on one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 4 and 13 (health, education and environment). We focus on the German-speaking countries (DACH region) and invest exclusively in the early phase of a startup
- typically up to series A.
How much are you investing?
Usually around EUR 200,000. Our smallest investment to date was EUR 75k - our largest was just over EUR 1 million
How does the investment process work?
Step 1: You submit your pitch via our platform (signup.capacura.de).
Step 2: Your pitch is enriched with additional information by our intelligent tool and reviewed by our investment team, because each of your ideas deserves to be looked at personally.
Step 3: If we are convinced by your pitch, we will invite you to a pitch day. Otherwise, you will receive an automated startup evaluation from our system.
Step 4: If you have convinced us at the pitch day and we have also convinced you, the due diligence (DD) process begins.
Step 5: If the DD is successfully completed, we enter into contract negotiations.
How long does the investment process take?
Up to two months.
Are you going pro rata in upcoming investment rounds?
We decide on an individual basis depending on the stage of development and the market situation. Sometimes we are a follow-on round investor, sometimes we participate on a pro rata basis and often we abstain if there is sufficient capital available.
